Spencer is governed by a Board of Selectmen/Town Administrator form of government. The Board is comprised of five elected members and is responsible for setting policy for the Town of Spencer. The Administrator is responsible for day-to-day operations.
Board of Selectmen meetings are usually held on the second and fourth Mondays of the month, and workshops are held on the third Monday of the month. Please consult the web calendar for specific dates and times.
Licenses issued by this office include those that pertain to alcohol sales, auto sales, food sales, gravel removal, fuel storage, inns, lodging houses, jukeboxes, amusement devices, and parades.
