2008 Memorial Day Parade

The Town of Spencer is located in central Worcester County, twenty minutes west of Worcester by Route 9 and ten minutes northeast of the junction of I-84 and I-90 in Sturbridge.

We've grown from a tiny village to 12,000 inhabitants.  Largely residential, the town is home to Inns, many restaurants, "Antique Alley", St. Joseph's Abbey, Industries, and the annual Spencer Agricultural Fair.

People choose to move here and stay because of our scenic rural character and small-town feel.

Welcome to the official municipal website for the Town of Spencer, Massachusetts.  We hope you will visit us often to print out needed forms, review volunteer openings, pay your bills and save yourself calls and trips to Town Hall.  Let us know how we are doing by sending a suggestion or question.

To contact us by phone - 508 885-7500.

Best Wishes,

Paul Guida                           Vincent P. Cloutier
