What Happens at a Zoning Board of Appeals Meetings?

The Chair person will open the meeting and will open the public hearings ,the applicant / owner will have a chance to discuss their application with the board members. After the applicant and board members deliberate, comment, and ask questions the Chair will open the meeting up to the public.

Public may attend the open session of  the meeting. Public may not address public body without permission of Chair or otherwise disrupt meetings. Public may make audio or video recordings of open session upon notification to Chair and subject to reasonable requirements and the Chair must inform other attendees of recordings at the beginning of meetings.  If a person continues to disrupt a meeting after clear warning from the Chair, the Chair may order the person to leave the meeting. If the person does not leave, the Chair may authorize a constable or other officer to remove that person.
