E-Permitting Has Gone Live in the Town of Spencer

[SPENCER, MA, June 5, 2023] The Town of Spencer is pleased to announce the upcoming release of its e-permitting portal.                                                                   

From the portal, applicants can complete applications for Town permits, including Building, Electrical, and Gas/Plumbing to be followed by Planning, Conservation, and Police (fire alarm registration). You will be able to view the status of a permit, request an inspection, monitor progress, and pay fees online.

The process for permits remains the same as the current paper-based system. Once submitted, the associated department manages the application and permitting process as always. New users will be required to create an account. Once an account is created, the user will be able login to submit future applications.

E-Permitting modernizes the Town’s permit application system by making it available online 24/7 and removing the hassle of paper forms and in-person filing at Memorial Town Hall. More modules will be added within the next year.
