How do I know if I need a permit from the Conservation Commission?
If you are disturbing soil or vegetation
- Within 100 feet from a pond, wetland, or stream
- Within 200 feet of a stream or river that flows year round
- In a pond, stream, wetland, or river
If you are unsure if there are wetlands on your property, please use the GIS map to search for the address in question. Click "Themes" from the top menu bar, and select "Wetlands."
