Community Camera Registration

Do you use a surveillance system at your home or business that records video? If you do, your security camera could help solve crimes.

The Spencer Police Department asks citizens and business owners to register their privately owned surveillance camera systems. This would be very helpful to the Police in response to criminal activity and the apprehension of offenders.

Any and all video surveillance footage shall continue to remain your property until such time as you decide to release it to the Police.

Your participation in the program shall not be an obligation to release any video footage.
